We want to ensure you get the correct package for your trading purposes. It is essential you know exactly what it is you're subscribing to and several questions have come up regarding our packages. Q: Why don't you offer your product free for 14 days other than on SkyDesks? A: We have partnered with SkyDesks for the ultimate trading solution. We feel that once you understand the SkyDesks virtual machine environment, you won't want to trade any other way! We are so pleased with the SkyDesks VM solution that both SkyDesks and J Talon offer this combination for FREE for 14 days. You get the full backing and support of two great companies working together to make your trading very secure. J Talon products and set files are updated continually on the SkyDesks VM virtually eliminating the need for searching for the proper set file. EV is updated and made available to you on the SkyDesks VM via a simple "update EV" button. This is the future of FOREX trading and we want you to benefit from it right now with the best solution for the lowest price AND FREE for the first 14 days. Since we offer EV free for 14 days via the SkyDesks solution, we won't offer it free via other package solutions. Q: What is a CID and why do I need one? A: The threat of stealing intellectual property is extremely high for Expert Advisors on the internet. J Talon encrypts their Expert Advisors with Guardian through a business relationship with FX1. You can read more about what a CID is right here. Q: One machine/one user...what do you mean? A: The subscription price to Evolution means you'll be licensed to run Evolution on one computer. The purchase of CG allows you to run one copy on one computer as well. If that computer is powerful, you can have many brokers, many open instances of MT4 and generally run the EAs through your testing "ringers". SkyDesks VM and IamFX VPS are not designed for backtesting but for forward testing and live trading. As such, we understand that there are professionals and experts who want and desire to test our EAs to their extremes. In fact, that is what we want you to do! However, you get to do that on one machine only! If you need to test/run them on more than one machine, you need more CIDs and those are available at an additional cost. Q: Why do I need multiple subscriptions if I can get additional CIDs? A: This answer applies to all our subscription products. With your first subscription, you are licensed to run the EA on one computer. With more CIDs you can run them on more computers. Unfortunately, you can not have those computers in different locations, for example, at work and at home. These are considered two different locations and our licensing is designed to run from one user, one machine at one IP location. Our licensing checks for multiple instances of IPs against our user database to ensure that your license is being used properly. If you desire to use an EA at work and at home, you will need a subscription to a second copy of the EA. With two subscriptions you will get one user and two computers in two locations. If you desire 3 locations, you will have the opportunity to purchase a 3rd subscription. Our licensing only allows for 3 subscriptions at this time. The one caveat that we allow is that if you select to PURCHASE EV for the purchase price, you will receive 3 CIDs to allow you to run EV in 3 locations on 3 different machines but still with the same user. Q: Can I travel with my laptop installed with your EAs? A: Of course you can! Our proprietary IP checking process understands these instances and will ensure that you won't be cut off. However, if you are live trading, we HIGHLY recommend you move to the JTA subscription on SkyDesks or through IamFX. Not only is it less expensive, you can take your secure "key" with you on the road. Since your SkyDesks VM is in the clouds, you won't need our other subscription services. Q: No Refund? Why not? A: We give you the ability to "try before you buy". You get our products free for 14 days on SkyDesks and if you don't like our product, you can cancel anytime prior to 14 day expiration period. If you are a professional or expert trader, we assume that have solid knowledge of FOREX trading and will be willing to try our SkyDesks solution. You are still trying before you buy in this instance as well. You must ensure that you want to subscribe directly to the product because the moment you complete your subscription process, your PayPal account will be charged for the first month of service. That is why we HIGHLY recommend you take advantage of our free trial offer with SkyDesks. Q: How many CIDs does your purchased EV come with? A: If you purchase EV, you will receive 3 CIDs for free. Those purchasing EV will receive an outstanding value. Essentially recovering your costs in 18 months yet still retaining the ability to access our forums and support service makes purchasing EV attractive to major firms and trading companies. Should you need additional CIDs for your purchased EV product, contact J Talon at support@jtatoday.com. You are reminded of our refund policy as this applies to our purchased EV as well. Q: Do you accept payments via any other method than PayPal? A: Yes. We have added Stripes as an option. We still prefer PayPal. PayPal is safe, secure and worldwide. If you don't have PayPal, PayPal will still process your transaction with a credit card. PayPal keeps all information related to your subscription. Several questions have arisen surrounding our Flagship Expert Advisor launch. Check this section to see if your question is answered. If not, feel free to contact any Development Group member or become a member of our forum and check the Evolution news section.
Q: Isn't Evolution just an upgraded Blessing? A: In a word, no. The only things that Evolution and Blessing have in common are the grid strategy and the safety features. The grid strategy is not a martingale but a completely controlled feature that relies on several market conditions, trade setting options and trader tolerance. EV can be set to trade one trade at a time. In fact, with Evolution, we have tested set files where the number of trades at one time was 3, maximum. We would not design any Expert Advisor without our copyrighted safety features so yes, we did borrow that from Blessing. One last thing I forgot to mention, Evolution does have one more thing in common, the experts in the Development Group! Q: What is the best broker for Evolution? A: If we only had a nickel for each time I've been asked this question about Blessing! You must do your due diligence when selecting a broker. US brokers have had to comply with several, heavy handed regulations in the FOREX trading industry. This has lead to a vast number of entry traders simply missing out because they do not have enough leverage for the account size they wish to trade. Evolution will work on most every broker. Will some of the features not work with US brokers? Yes, some features will not work because of broker restrictions but Evolution will still trade over 90% of the brokers out there. User selectable features such as toggling FIFO to on or off are but one of the many features designed to comply with the new regulations. Additionally, pending trades are now "stealth" to avoid the newest of the regulations. Not an endorsement but some Development Group members use IBFX, FXDD, Alpari UK and RVMarkets. I will say, at a minimum, you find a broker that allows you to trade micro (.01) lots. And for those that have a smaller account, I recommend a "penny a pip" account such as the ones offered over at IBFX and RVMarkets. Q: How much do I need to trade with Evolution? A: We recommend a minimum of $1000 per pair. Although smaller amounts have been tested, the protection features are "taxed" attempting to protect your account without available margin. Also, some pairs may require more based on our testing. Always look at our wiki to determine how much you may need for your favorite pair. |
