It's Holiday Season here in the US (and around the world).  Since we are a worldwide company, I want to wish all of you a Happy Holiday Season.  To those of us who celebrate Christmas, I want to add "Merry Christmas!"  Finally, I want to wish everyone outstanding fortune in the FOREX business.  The state of this field is constantly changing and on that we can depend.

There are those who do not wish us well, however.  It is a sad state for all of us who work to provide you the world's best and most configurable EA (and don't forget FREE), Blessing 3, when the basis of our company is attacked by hackers.  Today we experienced yet another attempt to take our site down.  We weathered this storm and were quickly back on the map.  Our products are hosted on Go Daddy servers and protected by daily backups, SPAM attacks, Viruses, DNOS attacks, etc.  You'll find the protection on the bottom of the first page of our forum for our daily scans and you'll see our site certifications at jtatoday.com at the bottom as well.  We want you to rest assured knowing that we will be around for a long time!

B3Pro! is on track in the development department.  We know you are waiting for this next offering from JTA but we want to give you a unique product in our subscription forum that is up to our standards.  This product is designed solely for release in our subscription forum.  What does this mean?  It means that when B3Pro! is ready for release, we will open our subscription forum.  In that forum you will find B3Pro!  Our subscription forum will be a new area where users and testers can collaborate with JTA on other product designs as well.  We are also considering a sale section in our subscription forum were forum members can "sell" their set files.  This will be an area where members can work on B3Pro! to sell their world-class set files to the world.  B3 will always be free as well as the set files developed by our members.  Our subscription forum will be our collaboration location. 

Evolution continues with development on v1.4.  Cable Gridder sales are going quite well.  Members are testing Cable Gridder on other pairs as we speak.  Go to our forum to check out their results.  Our Testing Department is working on another project they'll be excited to bring you shortly.  It's a super fast, hedging EA that will knock your socks off!  I've probably said too much since it's still in the early development stage however, I am excited by its results so far.  Low draw-downs will make this EA another JTA exclusive.  More on this in the coming months.

Today we released Cable Gridder.  Some last minute testing and scrubbing has allowed us to issue a first ever, drag and drop expert.  There are no set files with Cable Gridder in that it was developed exclusively against the GBPUSD on a 30 minute timeframe.

We know you like to test so Cable Gridder is ripe for testing.  Although designed against the GBPUSD, other pairs are not off-limits.  Give CG a whirl on other pairs and time-frames and report your results on our forum.  Interactive development of this EA will help create a better product.

SkyDesks will be shortening its trial period for new accounts.  The new trial period is 14 days.  As a result of this move, Evolution will also be free for 14 days on a new SkyDesks account.

It's been a busy summer at J Talon!  Continued development on Evolution has kept the Pro Testers Group very busy.  We rolled out version 1.3 of Evolution this month but we aren't stopping there.  Version 1.4 is in the testing phase and looks very promising indeed!

JTA would like to announce two new products to our lineup. Currently in development, Cable Gridder and B3Pro! will fill in a much needed gap in our product lineup.  Cable Gridder is a simplified profit grid strategy designed solely for the nuances of the GBPUSD.  It will be for sale very soon on our website and is currently in development right now.  It will be offered for a one time sale price of $49.95 and gives you the ability to trade the GBPUSD with the safety of our proprietary trading solutions.  B3Pro! is based on our free product Blessing 3.

B3Pro! will be a free product that will be offered only from our subscription forum.  The J Talon LLC forum has been a wonderful success and folks really like Blessing 3 but time and again folks just want more from Blessing 3.  We will keep Blessing 3 for free but we are starting a new section to our forum set that will be for subscription only.  Once subscribed to this forum, you will be privileged to download a professional version of Blessing 3 with added features and enhancements not found in Blessing 3 itself.  B3Pro! will be encrypted and protected by Guardian and will only be offered as such.  A CID will be required to run B3Pro!  Information on what a CID is can be found on our website.  The new forum subscription will be $12.95 when B3Pro! is complete.

Evolution will continue to be our flagship product and receive the most attention from our development group.  The summer sale is about over.  On September 1st, the price of EV jumps back up to $49.95.  If you subscribe to Evolution, you will become an automatic subscription forum member with access to B3Pro!  If you are a subscription forum member only and desire to add Evolution to your arsenal, you simply subscribe to Evolution.  Your subscription to the subscription forum will continue but you will pay just one price for both services. More information on our two new products will populate our website as these products reach their final development stage.  We expect to roll out these two new products within the next 4 to 6 weeks.

As we settle our processes down, we are finding that it takes a long time to test out new versions so that that it meets our standards.  Evolution is a wonderful product and has thousands of lines of code.  With each version we need an extraordinary amount of testing so that we get to you the best set files we can.  That being said, we are delaying our release of EV v1.3 until August 1, 2011.  We know you are looking forward to the next level of Evolution but we want to ensure we get you nothing but the best.  We thank you for your patience and loyalty!

Welcome!

Welcome to J Talon LLC and our first company newsletter!  Our goal is to get the news out to you as fast as we can.  There are several big announcements company-wide that will benefit your trading and solidify your choice in being a part of J Talon LLC.  Let’s get started!

We want to welcome our Pro-Testers Group.  For those of you who missed the news, we established a group of testers dedicated to making Blessing 3 and Evolution the best tested Expert Advisors on the planet.  This group of 10 folks is being guided by our newly hired Chief of Testing, Tommy Fanebust, utilizing a set of “standards” developed by J Talon LLC.  Which leads us to our second announcement, the standards, but more on that shortly!

Our Pro-Testers Group, or PTG for short, develops set files and reports for our products, Blessing 3 and Evolution.  Look for their work right now on our wiki, our newly developed online database, oh by the way, this is our third announcement!   Below are our testers and we want you to know that they are dedicated in bringing set files and reports that meet our new, tough standards.

Standards Developed                     

Speaking of standards, they are posted on our wiki as well.  I don’t want to re-read them to you but safe to say, these standards will meet even the toughest critic’s choices for a grid trader.  This should answer several questions brought up over the last year on our forum.  All of the set files we develop will meet these standards and in fact, a subset to this announcement is that all the 99% set files and reports for both Blessing 3 and Evolution are posted on our wiki right now.  We want to thank all of you for your inputs and we believe that these standards will help build your trust in our products.  They are one of a kind in this industry and we truly believe that we’ve set the standard for other EAs to match.  Catch them on our wiki.

Wiki

We are most proud of our latest addition to our internet family of services, our wiki.  Created by our new Chief of System Operations, Andrea Mariani (The Tramp), the wiki takes every piece of data generated over the years by J Talon and categorizes them into a useful interface.  You will use the wiki to get the latest set files and reports.  You will find on-line tutorials, also developed by our SysOps, on how our products work.  We believe that this will give you one stop shopping for everything Blessing 3 and Evolution.

Need the manuals?  They’re in the wiki!  Need to know who we are?  That’s there too.  Our forum will soon be parsed against key words and cross-referenced to the data in the wiki.  You won’t have to spend hours looking for that one key set file you’ve been looking for for Blessing 3 v3.2.  Why?  Because not only do we have the latest set files for our products, we have all the product revisions and their set files all posted on our wiki.  We are proud of this new addition and it will help you with our products at J Talon.  Our website is also new and brings us to our last set of announcements that you’ve all been waiting for.

Subscriptions and Sale

Evolution is now available for subscription straight from us and not just through SkyDesks.  You’ve wanted this option and we’ve heard you.  It’s taken some time to develop the necessary security measures insuring our mutual success but today, you can go to our newly designed website and subscribe to EV.  You can also purchase EV.  We still believe that you should be trading live on a Virtual Machine and that’s why our premium product is the Evolution and SkyDesks solution together.  But we understand that you all want to drive your own “new car” and run it through its paces so now that solution is available.  Speaking of our newly designed website, you’ll find all the latest information about J Talon and its products at jtatoday.com.  Up to the minute feeds from the latest FOREX sites and our company calendar are posted to keep you up to date on the happenings.

Whew!  A lot has happened in the last two months at J Talon.  We are proud of our partnership with SkyDesks and their Virtual Machine solution for trading live is second to none.  Understanding that the SkyDesks solution is just your MT4 in the cloud will help you to understand why this platform is fantastic for what it does; trade FOREX on your MT4 in the clouds.  They recently launched their basic VM service.  You can get a VM for $19.95 and load up your own EAs!  We encourage you to go live with SkyDesks when you’re ready to do so.  In the meantime, you have several ways to get our products.  You will find everything consolidated in our new wiki and finally, you can keep pace with the latest J Talon events on our newly revamped website.

J Talon will soon move to a month newsletter format.  We want you to get important information regarding the happenings at J Talon and their business partner, SkyDesks.  Using the name and email form on this page will ensure you receive this monthly newsletter.  We will continue to update this page until it becomes evident our newsletter is something you want to see.

J Talon has published a requirement for members to join our new Pro-Testers Group.  Go to our forum Admin section in the Development Group forum to see the requirements.  Additionally, we are recruiting for a Chief of Testing.  If you feel qualified to fill these large shoes, this information can be found on our forum as well.

J Talon has completed the development of the first set files for Evolution.  Reports for each set file can be found on our new reports page.  Additionally, our members have several ongoing forward tests with both Blessing and Evolution.  These reports and forward tests can be found on our reports page as well.

For those new to trading FOREX, a very basic How-To page has been established to point you in the right direction.  J Talon encourages every new customer to establish a virtual machine at SkyDesks.  SkyDesks is set to go hot on April 4th, 2011.  Both Evolution and Blessing will be automatically available when you select Evolution as your premium EA with SkyDesks.  Go check out the reports for Evolution.  The set files will be ready-loaded on your VM at SkyDesks when you sign up!

March 23, 2011:
Today we posted a poll on the JTA forum to check interest in Club Evolution.  Club Evolution will be a dedicated group of testers working for our Chief of Development to test for and get the best set files for Evolution. 

Club entry will not be cheap.  It will provide you with an encrypted copy of Evolution to run on your local PC, give you a free subscription to Evolution on SkyDesks and allow you access to one of the most configurable Expert Advisors ever.  The SkyDesks basic platform cost will still remain at $24.90.  The actual EV subscription will be for free as a member of Club Evolution.

March 16, 2011:
SkyDesks is currently finalizing it's website.  They are working on an upload application that will allow you to upload your files to the VM to populate your MT4 platform.  For security, you will not be able to download files from your VM.  This is the main reason JTA is launching exclusively with SkyDesks.  You will be able to completely manage your uploaded files inside of your MT4 platform.  Most questions regarding functionality of SkyDesks will be revealed soon by SkyDesks.

Lots of questions were asked regarding what the cost would be if a customer with SkyDesks wanted to utilize two VMs.  In other words, if a customer signed up with SkyDesks for a subscription to Evolution, what would be the cost of both services if that customer wanted a second VM with EV?  This is the structure SkyDesks and JTA agreed to:

- SkyDesks basic VM: $19.95 (user uploads and manages own EAs) (option to be added when SkyDesks is ready)
- SkyDesks premium EA VM:  $24.90
- SkyDesks premium EA VM:  $19.95 for second and subsequent VMs and SAME user
- EV subscription on VM: $29.95
- EV subscription on VM: $9.95 for second and subsequent VMs and SAME user
